The Alpine Meadows Ranch originally known as Como Orchard Summer Colony (1909)

Wright designed this private ranch with prairie style main home and guest cabin in the early 1900’s as part of the University Heights-Como orchards project and represents one of the few true western U.S. historical architectural treasures. The ranch, which is entirely organic, consists of 250 acres of forest and meadow with direct access to 1.2 million acres of National Forest Service. The views are spectacular and the wildlife is plentiful with abundant deer, elk, moose and upland birds. World class fishing is a few minutes away at the Bitterroot River. A 20-acre subdivision lies centrally, which is perfect for a family retreat or business haven. Missoula International Airport is one hour away. Recreational activities abound.
