IMMERSIVE DESIGN RESIDENCY

Led by Doug North Cook, who started Chatham University’s Immersive Media Program in 2018 participants will be challenged to spend a week unplugged while considering Frank Lloyd Wright’s ideas, completing a series of hands-on exercises in the studio and developing a personal project inspired by their time in residence.

Participants in this unique workshop will be eligible for up to 8.00 LU HSW from the American Institute of Architects through this professional development session taught by Ivan Chow and John Matteo.

FALLINGWATER FIRESIDE WITH MIKE BLOCK

For this Fallingwater conversation and one-of-a-kind concert experience, Mike Block will explain how his interest in Frank Lloyd Wright has inspired his music. His performances offer a rich mixture of classical repertoire, folk music, original compositions, and songs. Since 2005, Mike has been a member of Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble, with which he has been featured as both cello and vocal soloist, and contributed arrangements and composition.
