COVID-19 and the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy
The Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy takes the threat posed by COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) seriously. The health and safety of our members, event attendees, and staff is our priority. We are closely following updates from the CDC and local health authorities. This is a fluid and rapidly-evolving situation, and we commit to sharing timely updates with relevant stakeholders as decisions are made. Any important announcements will be sent directly to those most impacted, as well as posted here and on our social media platforms.
Current impacts as of July 17:
- The Conservancy’s 2020 Annual Conference in Buffalo has been postponed to fall 2021 due to the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was scheduled to take place from September 23-27. Conservancy members and supporters will be invited to join us for a virtual conference this fall. A virtual conference will take place from November 11-14, 2020.
- The Conservancy is staffing our Chicago office on a very limited basis, in compliance with local public health guidelines. Staff are still primarily working remotely, and we ask for your patience as we anticipate some delays in sending and receiving mail, including membership cards. If we can be of assistance, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Dinner at Auldbrass Plantation, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 28, has been cancelled. We hope to announce a rescheduled date in the future.
- Out and About Wright: New Mexico’s Modern Side, scheduled for April 30-May 3, has been postponed. Registrants have received an email with additional details. We expect to reschedule this event for spring 2021.
