The latest issue of SaveWright magazine, the Conservancy’s periodical, is now arriving in the mailboxes of Conservancy members. It delves into the evolution of the design of Wright’s kitchens, both in the homes he himself occupied and in the hands of later owners who take different approaches to preserving or updating them. Guest edited by Leslie Klingner, Curator of Interpretation at the Biltmore Estate, it features the following articles:
- “Wright’s Own Kitchens at Taliesin” by Keiran Murphy
- “Embracing the Intact: The Kitchen of the Kathryn and Lloyd Lewis House” by Christopher Enck
- “The Loss and Recovery of the Willey House Kitchen” by Steve Sikora
- “The J. Alfred and Muriel Sweeton House Kitchen, 1950/2012” by Daniel R. Nichols, AIA and Christine Denario
