Henry Whiting, owner of Teater’s Knoll in Bliss, Idaho, and friend of the Conservancy, has given an extensive series of interviews with Eric O’Malley of Wright Society over the last two and a half years. The conversations center on his life in the world of architecture. In his own words:
...beginning with my growing up in Midland, to my personal friendships with Alden Dow, John Lautner, Fay Jones and Bart Prince. It also includes 2 1/2 hours of talking about my restorations and experiences at Teater's Knoll, and my experiences with meeting 20 or so original clients of Frank Lloyd Wright.
The full set of edited interview recordings are now available for download on a pay-what-you-can basis. There is sure to be a lot of interest here for Wright aficionados. Henry has hosted several virtual and in-person events for the Conservancy over the years, and we are looking forward to hearing him go further in-depth in these recordings!
